BSNL IPO can be the biggest of all Indian IPOs
November 23, 2007
BSNLĀ IPO plans to come out with an issue next year and the companys intention to go for the Initial public offer is mainly to bring and raise value to the company rather than raising funds. According to the news it is known that BSNL IPO would dilute around 20% of the equity and the analysts are estimating huge valuations in excess of 100 billion USD for the stake on offer. If the BSNL IPO goes all according to the plans the issue would be one of the biggest IPOs of all the Indian IPOs. The company’s previous attempt to go for the IPO didnt go well as the previous Telecom minister Mr. Dayanidhi Maran was not interested in the issue. It would be interesting to watch for the BSNL IPO which would bring value to the investors.
